I have bet on millions of hands of blackjack. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the house.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a few days ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
