I have bet on millions of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of bankroll at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a few months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 wager
Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of $80
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
